Ur high voltage is dead,the FBT,the flyback transformer,the big black block of plastic with a red wire with a cap hook to the CRT(tv tube).That is dead.
Is there any picture at all? No matter what the video input. Is this a CRT or LCD? If it is a CRT chances are the CRT is blown. Did you hear a pop the last time it powered up? Does the Menu come up?
I assume you get a picture in there somewhere? The discolorization is caused by the degauser circuit malfunctioning or un-shielded speakers sitting too close to the TV causing magnatism in the CRT (picture tube).
