When washer goes to enter spin cycle it will not drain not plugged up filter clean, hose in back not plugged not making funny noises getting error code OE
Hi, OE-pump blocked. Disconnect the power before attempting any work. Use of an RCD (plug in power breaker) is recommended. Disconnect pump from sump hose and check for obstruction in either item. Pump removal: power off, remove cover, locate pump, (attached to other end of drain pipe).undo 2 wiring connections, 2 hose connections, and pump mounting screws. Remove pump chamber - some are held in with screws, others clip into place. Check for foreign objects round the impeller. If pump chamber is clear, may be a fault with the pump motor - in which case, replace. Also check the filter - generally located behind a panel at the foot of the machine. Some are obvious like little square hatches and some are hidden behind the trim panel at the foot of the machine. Once panel is removed the filter should be visible. Its generally a circular plastic fitting which unscrews in an anticlockwise direction. Some hotpoint, indesit and ariston filters are located in the big black sump hose (the one that leaves the bottom of the outer drum and connects to the pump). Remove the back cover, locate hose, remove the tensioner clip by squeezing the tabs together, remove the hose, take out filter and clean.

I've posted on this subject before. Your washer will not cycle correctly if there are any restrictions in the pump and this usually means that during doing the wash things have been transferred from your clothes generally the pockets. ..These things usually get lodged in the pump. When the washer enters the spin cycle the pump kicks in and pumps out the excess water. If you can get the back off the washer you will see a semi - round object that is usually white with 2 hoses coming out of it. One hose is the water in let hose the other one is attached to the drain hose that goes into the sewer drain outside of the washer. Make sure that the washer is unplugged then remove the hose that goes to the outside drain. Now with a flashlight look inside of the pump and see if you can see any debris or foreign objects. If you see anything in there you will have to remove these things through the hole where the hose connects. After removing debris replace hose inspect the surrounding area for obvious reasons why the washer may have stopped like look to make sure that the belt on the drive motor is ok. With no other signs of problems replace the back of the washer andplug it back in and try to sstart the washer just like you were just starting a new load of laundry. G
Sounds like a blockage in the outlet pipes or filter. It may be possible to drain it if you can get the outlet pipe (one from back of machine) outside, lay it flat on the ground as this will take it below the water level in the machine and may slowly drain. Once it drains out enough the machine should disengage the door lock to allow you to open it. Then check your filter and pipes for blockage. If no blockage is found then suspect faulty pump.
Not familiar with model but must cases its the drain pump blocked. water needs lowered before spin cycle works. Lay drain hose out the door to empty. Drain pump is down bottom beside where this hose comes out. Undo the filter bung there and clean out
It sounmds like there is a clog in the pump. If the washer won't drain, it will never spin. Remove the front panel by sliding a putty knife between the top and the front panel. The pump is located on the right side as you face the machine. Unplug the machine and be prepared to catch the onslaught of water as you remove the hoses. The pump may be clogged as you will see once you rmove the hoses. If so, clean it out and test. If the pump is bound and will not move it may need to be replaced.
clean the drain hose, but make sure you have a container to catch the water and lot of debris will come out. Then unplug the washer and put water on spin cycle to drain water, after draining water remove the pump filter located next to the drain hose turn left to open and clean more debris. I found my husband wedding band I thought he lost it on purpose. You will be surprise how much funk is in that filter. Turn pump filter to right to close and put cap back on hose. Don't call the repair guy. Hope this helped.
Cleaning depends on use. 8 years is a bit over the top!
When your water does not drain, check the outlet filter first, then the pipe from below the tub to the filter. Your washer wont spin 'cause the pump/filter is blocked.
