Sennheiser TR136 Wireless Headphones Nothing Happens

These wonderful headphones worked beautifully since March. My daughter admits to dropping them. Also we did have some power outages which made me wonder about a power surge. The recharger lights up okay seems to be working. The headphones themselves have nothing. No power, no sound. We tried recharging them several times. We opened the battery compartment to see if they's become disloged but they are fine.

I have spent countless hours trying to fix this issue, and I've gone to tons of forums. These headphones make this buzzing sound, all the time. And when I plug in my microphone jack it gives playback to my voice. I've tried unchecking playback and all that **** and nothing is working. Is there a driver I can download or something? Im using windows 7

I had a similar problem - after owning them for 4+ years, no sound we coming out, and no beeps -- nothing. The lights on the charger stand were on though.

I tried buying new rechargable AAA batteries and they were NIMH (nickel metalhydride?) and still didnt work. I borrowed a friend's pair of NICM (nickel cadmium?) AAA rechargables though and the problem was solved!

So, it would seem the some of the new chargable battery types might not work in older models of this unit (which is also called the RS 130 now in the US and Cdn web sites).

Hope this helps!

Just found a solution to mine: Unplug power supply, take out batteries (prob not necessary), wait a minute a reconnect. Worked!

I tried regular AAA in their place as if it were a battery issued I would think that would help, rather than rushing out to buy new ones. Still nothing. Yes my daughter did drop them, but on carpet. One would think after paying $250 they would be more durable. I need to find the receipt and try the warranty I think as I've only had them 6 months. Actually I can't even find the right model Number. When I go to the Sennheiser web sit this model number isn't even listed and I don't see any other number on the headphones.

Replace the NiMh batteries. They might be bad. Could happen during power surges as you indicated you had. Let them charge up fully 14-18 hours as the book suggests.

My sennhauser 110 only work on left speaker ,nothing ,no sound on right?????headphones

The first thing to do is to disconnect the Sennheiser wireless unit and try another headphone, preferably a cable type and see if both channels work. If the sound is OK on both channels, the fault is within the headphones. If you are lucky it will be the wireless unit plug or the cable and can easily be tested and repaired by somebody familiar with electronics. Otherwise you will probably need to have it repaired by a service shop or a technician. I hope the guarantee is stilll valid.

Hi. Suddenly the volume controls for my Sennheiser i300 headphones for iPhone have stopped working. Any ideas? Thanks in advance Paz

I thought this was another example of the proprietary world of Apple, whereas any non-Apple made or certified headphones/headsets with mic and/or volume control will not work with an iPhone or iPad (I am not sure about iPod). It took me many headsets to figure out what was going on. However, your headphones seem to be made for iPhone and sold in Apple stores. If this is the case, I will go back to any Apple store and talk with the tech people there about your situation.

I have HDR65/RS65 Sennheiser wireless headphones. I disconnected them to move stuff around, then re-connected them. Now all I get is a 2 second cycle consisting of: 1 second of static that builds in...

Try connecting them to an MP3 player or connect wired headphones to the same source to make sure the sound source is working correctly. If that works, verify the voltage on the batteries is 2.4 volts after charging. Mine stopped charging fully and the headphones wouldn't work at all, but when I connected a couple of AAA batteries to it in series, it worked great.

No sound from RS130 headphones

I'm having the same problem with the RS140. Only a few weeks old, and no sound at all coming out (not even the beeps). Have replaced batteries and tried a different audio source. Base station lights are on and indicating it is receiving an audio signal, but nothing is going go the headphones.

No sound coming through my Sennheiser wireless headphones

Turning the transmitter on and off (Fig. 5)
Turn on the sound source. This automatically activates the
transmitter and the green LED “ON/OFF” lights up. If the sound
source is turned off, the transmitter is automatically deactivated
after approx. 3 minutes (the LED “ON/OFF” goes off).
Note: The automatic level control only functions if the volume of the
sound source is sufficient.

Unable to listen to my wireless

They need a minimum level of signal to switch on the transmitter.
Verify if it works on yet another system.
Make sure you have the right output on your Samsung.
Try to increase the output level of your Samsung...(up the volume, but it may be a fixed output..)
