Question about HP PSC 1610 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I have installed/uninstalled the software (successfully it says) several times but the scan options never get installed.
If you are having issues using your PSC 1610 on the Vista operating system there is actually an easy workaround using "paint" (I'm using "SnagIT").
Check it out:
For whatever reason you can't use the actual button on the printer/scanner but when you open paint you can scan the doc from your computer.
Hope this helps!

Most scanners work the best when you activate the software from your computer. (HP solutions or something along that line).

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
