There is no other error. 7 out of 10 I can get the unit running but every time it stops it generates uart err no code with this error. It would seem that the more I try to adjust the speed the quicker it faults. Any ideas?

yes, your correct this could be the lower board with the issue.
The lower board could have blown a fuse, which you can check and replace quite easily. If the fuse is good look for other burnt spots on the board. The lower board may need repairing/replacing.
If the machine stopped while in use (after about 10min) then you will have a few other problems to check. Try adding silicone spray under the belt and if this has already been done then the running belt may need replacing.
adjust the REED swith see the diagram attached. Test for open or faulty+clean it+tigh the connector very well. Lube the deck belt very well+rollers bearing front and back+test the drive belt motor. Try to RUN the software calibration, after you fix it. God bless you
Possible explanations and work-arounds based on various blood pressure
monitors..net is if it has worked religiously like mine had and this
error comes up, and the simple fixes below do not work, there is
something internally wrong with the unit..there does not seem to be any
customer reset or obvious fixes..contact the manufacturer for service..
Error Description Potential cause and remedy
«Err 3» No pressure in the cuff
An adequate pressure cannot be generated in the cuff. A leak
may have occurred. Replace the batteries if necessary. Repeat the
measurement.
Err 0 No pulse is detected
Err 1 Inflation rate is too low
Err 2 Systolic reading unattainable
Err 3 Cuff pressure is too high
Err 4 Diastolic pressure is outside of operation range
Err 5 Cuff deflated too fast
Err 6 Cuff deflated too slow
Err 7 Systolic pressure is outside of operation range
Err 8 Overall pressure is outside of operation range
Err 9 Cuff is unable to inflate to the necessary pressure level
--------------------------------------
Error No. Possible cause(s)
Err 1 No pulse has been detected. Cuff may be positioned incorrectly.
Err 2 The arm was moved during the measurement.
Err 3 Inflation of the cuff took too long. The cuff is not positioned correctly.
Hi, same thing here when i had the problem. I called LifeSpan and was also asked to lubricate the belt and since then i have not experienced the problem again.. It seems you have to call LifeSpan again and ask of the technician to come down and check it out since the only solution to the problem is not working and helping....
That error code mean you motor is not getting the correct signal to operate the drive motor. You will need unplug unit then take the motor shroud off visually inspect all connectors then make sure all of them are seating solid in their connectors. then plug the unit in check an see if the L E Ds have lit on lower electronics board then get on unit and with your foot proceed to move the belt while doing that hit your start button and see if that error code come up. At this point we are checking the speed sensor to see if it is functional. Now if your upper console is registering its showing speed and time moving forward this also tells us that the communication between the two boards are fine. Now stop this process and you should have the error 1 show on the console. If you have a multi meter handy find the two leads coming form the motor going to the board unplug them put the two leads into the connector switch the meter to dcv 100v range and proceed to move the belt in the previous now the motor has become a generator and if function you should be getting a dcv output if not the it telling either worn motor brushes or open winding in the motor now if you get a reading then that lower board is defective. Then call York and get pricing on the defective part.

Same thing happened to me. After one minute of running, lamp shuts off and 5 power led blinks and 3 ready led blinks, indicate UART ballast error. Well, I purchased a new lamp, and installed it, and the problem was gone. I looked closely at my old lamp, and it showed a little blister inside, and a tiny spot of white residue, perhaps it was the whole problem there, although I don
