If you don't supply 24 volts to the motor, it won't run. You'll have to read the specs on the 24 volt motor as to shaft and wiring.

Keeping in mind that some motors may be different
The most common wire colors on a 3 speed motor are as follows:
Red- Low speed
Blue- Medium speed
Black- High speed
Brown capacitor wires ( usually two of them connect to the two capacitor terminals doesn't matter which wire to which terminal)
White - Neutral wire on 115 volt systems or the other 115 volt side of a 230 volt system ( note on a 230 volt motor this wire may not be white). Remember this is the most common wiring but different motors may have different wiring.

T-30 wiring changing from 460 volts to 230 volt 3 phase

There are several items that will need to be changed or replaced. First rewire motor. Remove weather head cover. On the motor will be a tag that shows how to wire for 460 volts and 230 volts.Check the tag and present wiring to make sure they match. Then look at the 230 wiring and change wiring per motor tag. Again check the motor tag to see max amps at 460 volts and 230 volts. 230 volts will be higher than 460 volts. Check the starter (if so equiped) to see how many amps its rated for. You will probably have to replace the starter. Make sure it has a 230 volt coil. Next size the overload heaters for your amperage. This conversion is not a simple task unless you're familiar with electrical . Good luck!!!

You have a high resistance short either inside the wiring or the lower unit. This will cause a voltage drop. I would be very careful not to keep it connected too long cuz the battery is trying to keep up with the current demand and may explode.

The Green wire from the electric motor is ground. Check the compressor motor, make sure it is wired for 220-230 Volts. If it has a white wire it could be wired 120 Volts. There should be voltage and current ratings on the motor plate. I always double check these connections. At 230 Volts this motor should be 17 Amps full Load. A 25-30 amp fuses are required to protect this motor circuit. Otherwise up to a 42.5 Amp Inverse Time Delay Breaker could be used.
The welder circuit should have 230 Volts between the Red and Black wires. The white wire is Nutral / Ground. Hopefully this is a 30 to 40 Amp circuit. The Four prong air compressor outlet, White is Neutral, Black and Red 230 Volts, Gray should be ground. Please check with Voltmeter, as some times people swap colors.

No, the Intermatic T104 requires 240 volts for the clock motor.

The T103 has a 120 volt clock motor and will control a 240 volt load, but requires a 3-wire (with ground) supply cable [as opposed to only a required 2-wire (with ground) for the T104].

The T101 uses a 120 volt clock motor and controls 120 volt loads.

2004 silverado with dual manual temperature controls. Will not blow hot air out of driver side vents.

1. Gain access to the air temperature motor for circuit testing. There are 5 wires at the motor.

2. The Brown wire is ignition power.

3. The Yellow wire is a ground at all times, through the control head.

4. The Light Blue/Black wire carries a 5-volt reference from the control head to the temperature motor.

5. The Light Blue wire is the feedback circuit to the control head and should measure between about 1 volt (cold) and 4 volts (hot). This feedback circuit operates similarly to a Throttle Position Sensor (TPS).

6. The Dark Blue wire is the motor control circuit sent from the control head.

7. When the control head sends out 5 volts on this wire, the motor moves towards hot.

8. When the control head sends out 0 volts, the motor moves towards cold.

9. When the temperature motor reaches the correct position (as measured by the feedback voltage on the Light Blue wire), the control head sends out 2.5 volts. This voltage signals the temperature motor to STOP and hold its present position.

10. Check for correct operation of these voltages.

11. In some cases, the air temperature door doesn't fit correctly in the plenum and will cause the air temperature motor to travel too far. This will cause the control head to become confused and operate erratically.
