Anyone know how to remove the top white panel from the printer? The excess toner door won't stay shut and I can see that it's because of a misaligned clip causing the top panel to warp.
To make sure there is a clear understanding here's a complete diagram Overall Parts Diagram

Turn the batcave over and remove the long black piece in the center section (5 screws). Re-align the two white gears so that the drawbridge stays shut. Then put everything back together. Easy 2 min. fix.
Is the filter up top or in the door? If it is up top the fuse is located in the back behind the dust cover a skinny white component that mounts with one screw on the blower housing. Advise you remove the filter chute and inspect for lint if the fuse is melted. It ties in with the door switch which is what you should check next. If the filter is inside the door I would remove the front panel and clean her up and hunt for the fuse which is mounted on the blower housing and is a round white component. I did a blog on both styles: Top filter inside filter
If the door won't stay shut the issue is with the door catch not the door springs, But if you want to know where the door springs are you need to remove the outer cabinet of the dishwasher and you will see them on the lower sides.
Possible Problems: 1)Out of / Low on Ink. Solution : replace the ink 2)Printer Setting Solution : Check to make sure the lighter/darker slider is somewhere near the middle. This will be in the configuration screen on your printer.
On the memory controller board (the unit inside the printer which each toner unit makes contact with. If you open the front door and remove each toner, you will see a row of 4 contacts plus 4 leds and 4 receivers, encased in a metal casing/guard), there is a small white actuator, just to the left of the black toner, which is coupled to the scanner shutter lever.
If this is not correctly coupled, it will result in the "door open" message. The white actuator should spring back out towards the front of the printer when you press with a small flat blade srewdriver and release.
I had to remove top cover, rear plate, lhs covern High voltage psu and the memory controller board. I made sure the shutter lever and the actuator were set correctly and reassmbled.
Door open message was resolved.
It is likely that you had a cyan toner spill, the spilled toner collects in a tray beneath the toner carousel. You need a toner vacuum with a long thin nozzle. Remove one of the toners to gain better access, if you remove the PCU also you can rotate the carousel from the top as long as the front cover is shut. Vacuum up any loose toner from beneath the carousel, the mag developer rollers can be vacuumed from above and recharge the toners by rotating the white plastic gears at the ends of the rollers. Don't use an ordinary vacuum as the toner is very fine and may damage it.
Hi.. To fix the E527 error, close the front panel (cover A) and open the top cover (cover B). With the photoconductor unit removed, the toner carousel will rotate. It only rotates if cover A is closed all the way. You can easily rotate the carousel to a position where you can remove/reinstall the toner cartridge if stuck.
Thanks

I tried this solution but wasn't quite sure how it's possible. "Pull out the drum. Open the front door. Then close back this door then at the same time, move the carousel around back or forth. The carousel now is able to be free to rotate. During rotating you try to pull out the catridge. If it is locked, then adjust it to the position to be free."
Instead i pulled out the drum unit and pushed down with a bit of force on the toner carousel. I heard the gears grind which didn't sound real pleasant but the error went away. Instead I received an error message this time to remove and reseat the Cyan toner. Tried this multiple times w/o luck so i replaced the Cyan toner and it freed it up. Now I'm getting a paper jam message but there is no jam. Stuck again but making progress...
