Water leaking from bottom of door during wash cycle

On my Kenmore elite M#110.44936 front loading washer, i noticed a small puddle underneath the rear corner of the unit every time i washed. After removing the front an rear panels, I discovered that there seems to be a slow leak from the bottom of the front of the tank. It just seaps out, but enough to cause a problem. The water drips down from the balance weight in the front onto the drain valve, and then accumulates in the drip pan. The water then must go underneath and run along the bottom until it reaches the back corner and drips off to the floor. The machine is just out of warranty (go figure!!. The problem dosnt apear to be the door seal. Is there something else to look for?

    large hole in rubber seal

First I am a mom that is a jack of all trades usually...but this is an area I do not know. But I am determined to fix my washer myself. I have a top load whirlpool washer that is leaking in the lower front from underneath. I placed cardboard under machine and ran cycle...the leak is in the front. It floods a good amount of water. The hose in the back looks okay..no leaks or holes. I think it may be the water pump and if so I want to replace it myself. Or is it an obstruction in the hose?? Help Please...anyone. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

when cycle is running water will leak out of the front panel and drips onto floor

The washer is running and in cycle but their is water dripping into my washer. It is causing the washer to have too much water in each cycle. It seems like the washer inlet has a leak.

I had a similar problem.  It turned out to be the overflow "sock".  It's a long plastic bag that hangs from the side of the tub.  You have to get the top open, and it will be on the left side.  Where it attaches to the tub, the plastic attachment has a rubber washer that gets flattened out after time allowing the attachment to get loose and leak.  Since I couldn't find the washer to replace it, I cut a piece of gasket material like you get from an auto parts place and placed it behind the foam washer.  This made the connection tight, and the leak stopped, thank God.

Small puddle of water underneath washer when wash cycle was completed.

That could be 1 of a couple things.

1) During the agitate cycle... some water could've made it out of tub.

2) Possible Tub Crack (or overflow line)

3) Check your inlet lines

I would run it again watching it very carefully to determine if any of these are the problem.

My front load kenmore washer door gasket is garbelled

Something probably got caught in the seal and pulled it out of place. If u run washer so that it fills up and starts tumbling,,, and there is no water leak,, there is a good chance u can repair this yourself. So if there is no water leaking,,, you can try and take out the bottom front panel and twisting, or shoving it back into place. If there is water leaking,,, than chances are its ripped or broken, and will need to be completely replaced
