I just bought a jdc77 jazz digital camera on july 5th at a wal mart in vancleave, miss. i did not open it until junly 7th but it doesn't work...when i go to take a picture it shows red and white lines on the screen but no picture...when i try to shoot video the screen is staticky and doesn't record...i lost my receipt so wal mart won't exchange it for me...i paid $27 dollars plus tax for it and i want it fixed or my money back...
You have to format your sd card

That is actually the exact same thing I am experiencing but mine has grey lines on the display window. I was able to take photos to a grey screen connect it to my comp...low and behold my pics showed....I am furious....need some answers as I will never hear the end of it from my daughter.

This is not a disposable camera if it has phototags. I have 2 sakar digital concepts cameras both had phototags software and are not disposable.
243 photos is most likley the MAXIMUM number of pictuures you can shoot before downloading not the lifetime of the camera.
