You probably have constant power running the radio. do you have constant and ignition wires from the radio hooked up or did you twist the yellow and red wires together? if this installation was done correctly than you the unit should power off when you turn the ignition off.

To fix this issue on the back of the double din touch screen#uv8020, splice the pink wire, and splice into the (black) ground wire connecting them together. This will enable you to watch dvd;s whie driving.
you mean you are trying to pladvd's while driving??? if you are here you go thae the pink wire form the uv8020 splice it iwith the black wire neg power wire. and that should work if yo uneed picturs just let me know [email protected]
To change the region code on the UV8 you must have a dvd playing and 1. with the remote press setup 2. then enter 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. This gives you access to firmware menu. 3. arrow down to tools "system settings" (you should be able to use the touchscreen) enter on region a menu opens and select "0" to make it region free. You can also go down to the brake bypass menu here to to put in "off" mode so you can see movies while driving.
I just got this same unit on thursday of last week and put it in myself. All you have to do is ground the pink wire out and it will work without having to put a bypass code in. Hope this works for you as well.
