I programmed a Radio Shack 5-in-one remote to my Apex DT-250. Select cabel/satelite, hold p until the light blinks twice, then enter the code 0749. It works! If your universal remote uses a three digit code, use 749. If it uses a five digit code, use 00749. I HAVE A PROBLEM THOUGH... I don't know how to scan for channels! It says "please do auto channel search", but how do I do that? Please, if anyone has this answer, let me know. I finally programmed the universal remote, but it's basically useless without being able to do an auto channel search.

I own a One-for-All universal remote and my booklet says the setup code for a Hitachi TV ( without a built-in VCR or DVD) is 0145. I do not know for sure, if this number will work with your remote, but it is worth a try.
