DVR problem I have 8 cameras and they are all working fine. It is my software or DVR. All I see when I go to the camera screen on my tv is black and white pictures from the cameras (no more color) and the screen is scrolling quickly.

Zmodo has some of the best Customer Service of any company. I have one of their DVR and camera set-ups, and every question I ever had*** was answered over the phone immediately.
(I am not a "schill", nor do I have a financial interest in them other than purchasing their products: I actually own a bunch of their cameras and a DVR unit)
I would recommend simply giving them a call, they will likely answer your questions quickly, thoroughly, and completely.
(at least that was my experience!)

*** I must say that some parts of their Instructions / User Manual are very concise, self-explanatory, and easy to understand, if one has an IQ of 160+ !!! But the phone support is tremendous..
Remove all the cameras then reboot. If it boots up normally then shut down dvr and add a camera and repeat. If it doesn't solve the problem, the issue is probably a video card or motherboard issue and will need to be repaired or replaced.
Had the same thing happen with a Night Owl 8 cam system. I set the resolution too high (1900x1200 I think) and it said Frequency Out of Range on my monitor. I could not find a solution so I finally disconnected the dvr and took it to a large lcd hd tv. I connect through the vga cable and it worked. I reduced the resolution back down to something I know would work on my monitor and all is good.
it is neither clear what sort of output your cctv cameras produce, nor what sort of input your dvr accepts. but, for the most part, dvrs record digital tv signals, whereas cctv cameras output analogue signals. so, even though you may be able to plug a cctv camera "straight" into a tv via a scart connector, it is unlikely that any scart connectors on a dvr have the necessary circuitry to accept such signals.
try calling up the system on the 16 screen to see id if thy still jump around if not and its only on the single screen then u have the camera rotation on wich u can turn off. its at the bottom on the right it looks like a monitor with arrows pointing to the right
