I have a Kenmore Elite Oasis HE top loader, model number 110.27062604. It appears to be leaking out of the bottom. I tipped it over and removed the rotor and stator. There is a shaft going up to the drum that the rotor mounts to. It appears to be a sealed bearing it goes through. I have a splatter around the outside of the washer base that has an oily residue. Also a circular pattern on the floor that also appears to have an oily residue. I could not find any parts on searspartsdirect.com that looked like they would work. I assume there is a drum seal of some sort. What part would I need to fix this, and where can I get it? Also if I have to get to the part from the top, how do I disassemble it? Thanks. Ed

Its pretty comlicated requires dissasembly of the front of the washer. A good tech can do in 1 hour. You may want to pay for it rather than spending all day and possibly damaging something. Let me know if you need further assistance.

your just seeing the water that is leaking dureing the wash cycle unplug washer there will be 2 screws on the header panel 1 on each side take them outgently pull header panel to you then flipupunplug wiring harness thas to the cabnet there will be 2 clips 1 on each sideuse a flat screwdrive and pry back they will come out tip cabnet back to you the whole thig will come off look at the pump in the front it has a weep hole in it see if it has been leaking from there

If you have no transmission experience DO NOT DO IT YOURSELF. lots of parts inside and one tiny little misplacement of a gear and you can ruin the entire thing. have an experience techincian come out and replace it for you.

its the power button its a common prob use a soldering iron and switch it with the load sinal button this happpens as the washer alallows moisture to get on the board as its not protected it will save u a ton of money and anyone can do it
