Can't find a swivel stand to for LG tv that used to be mounted

I have several flat screen tvs from a business that just closed and all were mounted to walls. I want to use them at home but don't want to mount them on the walls and all of the original boxes and pieces were thrown away. Where can I find a replacement base? Whenever I look on the internet all the sites that come up are for furniture tv stands.

SOURCE: Swivel Base for a 42LC2D

Hi there is normally a set of 4 to 6 screws that hold the base to the tv set that you remove , you can then possibly use the same screws to attach the wall bracket to the back of the tv before mounting on the wall
hope this helps
cheers John

SOURCE: the screws broke off when trying to remove the tv stand from my LG 42lg30. Is there any other way to remove the base stand? thanks

If you broke one of the base stand screw you will need to do as follow:

Remove the remaining screws of the stand and try to remove the stand, if you cant you will need to remove the back cover of the TV and then you will be able to remove the stand, remove the broken screw and put it all back.

It is pretty easy but if you feel you cant do it let me know and I can give you a detailed step by step guide.

SOURCE: I am trying to wall mount my LG M197WDP - PZ 19

It's simple!
Step 1: Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws holding the red plate off the bottom.
Step 2: Pop the red plate off (May need some persuasion! It should pop straight out, there is nothing else holding it in place, but be careful)
Step 3: Unscrew the four screws holding the spigot in place, and remove the spigot.
Step 4: Screw the 4 screws bach in place.
Step 5: Screw the red plate back into place.
Step 6: Enjoy!

Seeking Owner's manual

have you looked in the owner's manual ?
Support LED TV UN40H5203AF Samsung TVs
don't know if this the right one for your set, I think the 40" series all have the same manual. I couldn't download it myself. Also on that webpage you can 'chat' to a Samsung rep. who should be able to give you better directions to the correct instructions

Hi, We can not get our TV to swivel. What to we

U have to litterly turn the tv 20 degrees to the left or to the right. If u wanted the tv move to the left or the tv move to the right. The base stand dose not move,it is a solid base stand to hold the tv in with screws. Some tv u can swivels, but only can do it up and down by 20 degrees screen base swivels that it.Take a hold tight of the LCD screen panel and push it up or down 20 degree, that is ur base swivels.

I'm trying to attach supporting brackets to the rear of an LG SL90 TV. Should I use the same holes used for the supplied table top swivel mount?

Do not use the 4 holes for the table top swivel mount.

You have to use the 4 holes in the middle section on the back of the TV. These four hole are spead futher apart and require larger and shorter screws.

Good Luck.

No tv stand

Just about every LCD TV has a VESA adapter mounting section on the rear. Measure the size there (75mm 100mm etc), and check Wall Mart, Best Buy etc. for a mount. They are readily available.
