How to fix E1 error on samsung ER 5140

E1 is just operator error, it normally occurs when the wrong keys are pressed or the machine has got itself into a bit of a loop. At exactly which point does the message appear? is it when you press a certain key?

The first thing to try is an initial clear:

Turn the key to P
Press and hold SUBTOTAL
Whilst continuing to hold SUBTOTAL turn the power off... then back on
Continue to hold SUBTOTAL until the receipt stops printing
Turn the key to R and give it a test.

Service 900 error message

900 Error Code service check

1 Printer POR
Turn the printer off and on several times. If Error Code 900 continues
to display, go to step 2.

2 System board
Make sure the system board is properly seated in connector J7 on
the interconnect board.
Turn the machine off and on several times, waiting a few minutes
between power on and power off.
If Error Code 900 continues to display, go to step 3.

3 Factory defaults
Restore factory defaults. See “Restore EP Factory Defaults” on
page 3-18. This resets the non-critical areas of the user NVRAM. If
Error Code 900 continues to display, go to step 4.

4 Sub error codes
With Error Code 900 displayed, press Select and Return. Record the
complete list of Sub Error Codes on the display. Check the “Base
printer sub error codes” on page 2-6. If none of the Sub Error
Codes are listed, then call your next level of support.

Error Code 51.2 C on an HP 4600

A 51.2 error message means that there is an error 51(Printer Error).2 (Laser Error) C (Cyan). This basically means that there is something wrong with the laser and the cyan color laser.
