In Tally T2240/24 Matrix Printer i am not able to take test page,

This sounds like an Microsoft Excel issue. The Windows printer driver controls how printing is done regardless of your printer settings.

Excel controls the format of your page with column widths and line height. Depending on your version of Excel, after selecting your print range and your margins, you will need to go to Page Setup and select "Fit to" -- select 1 page wide and a larger number of pages tall.

It is probably not the printer problem . First confirm it by taking 2-3 windows test pages . If it is coming properly than your problem is surely form the package you are using. Ask the system administrator to rectify the problem from the software . page length and printer emulation must be added in the software.

install proper driver for it.Set it as defaul printer in control panel> printer & setting. Take a test print and try now with Tally.

Click Start, click Control Panel, click Printers. Right-click on your printer icon. Click properties, click Print Test Page.

buy the looks of the problem it looks like you may have either faulty driver or a cable connect to the printer is not in correctlly
. I would try this test first install the Generic / text only driver and send a printer sample to the printer. if this prints ok it could be the driver your down loaded or problem with one of the line driver boards inthe printer.
