You can log into the router by putting this in your browser http://192.168.1.1/ , then the user and password is normally admin - admin. or admin and password is password. You may also google the brand and get instructions from the manufacturer's forum. Once in the router, you can get the WEP code.

You need to be in the ADMIN. to change / enter codes. There is a separate code for the ADMIN. Input that code and you can change, edit, add new codes. If the ADMIN code was not ever changed then it will be the default code in the manual. Be ready because the code is not where you think in the manual. I believe it is is the setting section or check management settings. The default is usually 000000 or 111111.
You need to have the ADMIN code to access, change, edit, delete or install new codes. Look in the Management setting under user tools. Look for user codes or key operator codes. Defualt ADMIN code is normally 000000 or 11111, that is if the ADMIN code was not changed.
