I have a Canon PC-6RE Copier and I have a quality problem. light prints and when I darken it, u see light prints at the same time with the normal quality, I had the copier taken in for a factory recall and ask the tech to see what was the problem on the quality, He checked it and said that the copier needed to be serviced and all cleaning and no parts.
Now, how can I do my own service on my copier? where do i start and what do i need and where to clean and clean with to improve the quality, The Toner cartriage is not the problem.

There are some things better left for others to do. copiers is one of them. you cant explain in a paragraph what needs to be done and how to do it. there are alot of things that can be broken by people who dont know what they are doing. your machine is so old that you cant get parts for it anyway. you would be better off getting a new machine.
