I have Vista home premium installed n earlier i had XP SP3.
wen i switched to vista,my pc is asking for a driver for lifecam vx-500 which had no driver as it was simlpe plug n play.
please find me a solution ASAP
That's the driver for the vx-5000, not the vx-500.

I have the exact same problem, I can use it in skype but as soon as I try Yahoo! Messanger (Bloody Vist Home basic dosn't run Windows) it is unrecognized same with the computer if you look at My Computer it isn't there?? I think it is the whole plug and play thing?? Anyone else got the same problem?

Check to see how much memory you have installed in you computer. If it low amount this will cause the camera to freeze the computer. Hope this helps. Bud
