Important tips to fix Kindle Fire not charging issues!!

If you're experiencing problems with your Kindle Fire not charging, there are a few things you can do to try and fix the issue. First, check to make sure that you're using the correct charger. If you're using a generic charger that came with your device, try using a compatible charger instead. You may also need to clear out your Kindle Fire's battery by deleting unused apps and content. Finally, if all of those fixes fail, it may be time to take your device in for repairs.

My Kindle Fire is frozen on the Fire logo

Hello

"Performing a hard reset on your Kindle Fire may resolve intermittent issues like a frozen screen, battery issues or trouble downloading content to your Kindle Fire. Allow your Kindle Fire to charge for approximately 30 minutes, then try the following steps.
To perform a hard reset on your Kindle Fire, press and hold the power button for 20 seconds and then release. After the device has completely turned off, press the power button to restart your Kindle Fire.
If your Kindle Fire is still unresponsive, try charging your Kindle Fire before trying to reset the device again. Hope this helps, good luck.

My Kindle fire won't move past the start up "kindle fire" screen. what is wrong and how do I fix it?

Hello

Reset the Device:
If your Kindle Fire won't move, this doesn't necessarily mean that it's "broken" or has a major problem. The Kindle Fire has a tendency to become "stuck," meaning that it looks like it's "off" when it's actually "on" but it will not work properly because it's locked up. To unlock the Kindle Fire, do a reset by holding down the power button for 20 seconds or more. Then turn the device back on by hitting the power button again. If this doesn't work the first time, try holding the button down for 30 seconds or more. Most of the time, this will be all you have to do to get the Kindle Fire up and working again.

Charge It:
If resetting doesn't work, it's possible that your battery is dead. Try plugging the Kindle Fire into the charger and wait about 15 minutes before trying to turn it on again. If the device refuses to start up, try resetting it again.
If it still won't move, it's possible that you have a dead charging cable. Alas, the cables that come with the Kindle Fire are not known for their longevity. Try charging the tablet with another cord that has a Micro USB connection and see if the device responds. There's no guarantee that the charging cord from your smartphone will work with the Kindle Fire, but it's worth a try. If you get a bit of a charge, then you'll know that your Kindle Fire needs a new charging cable.

Try a Different Power Source:
if the charging cable appears to be working but the tablet still won't move, try plugging it into a different power outlet or the USB port on your computer.
If all of these troubleshooting tips fail, your Kindle Fire may have a hardware problem that requires professional help.

My kindle fire will not charge. Lightening bolt appears, says charging but the % does not change. I have unplugged everything, turned it off and on, and changed receptacles. What do I need to do>

Try using a different charger and cable to make sure the battery is being properly charged. Your penultimate option is to back up all your files and perform a factory reset. Go to Settings > Device > Reset to Factory Defaults > Reset. If nothing has worked, then it's time to contact Amazon.13 Jun 2016

I need an activation code

You should not need an Activation Code for a Kindle FIRE.

If it's for a game or app then you need to contact the developer of the app or game.

If you mean a wi-fi access KEY you should find this on your router;

If you mean your Amazon account, then it's your normal amazon account details.
