I would actually start with the cleaning unit right below the transfer belt. If it's worn out, it often streaks colors even after you've replaced the PCUs. As for the Calibration failure, I would make sure the chrome like roller underneath the transfer belt is clean. The sensors look through the transfer belt and reflect off this roller.

It sounds like the transfer belt needs to be replaced. They get scratched up and milky looking and the sensors can't see the color reg marks good enough. It could be other things also but the transfer is a good place to start.

Kyocera FS-C5015N color calibration

I just found out how to fix this - on my Kyocera Mita FS-C5400DN the Cyan and Magenta colors were greatly misaligned. Cyan was 3 mm to the left and magenta was about 9 mm to the left (misaligned).

In the "Advanced Operation Guide" I found out that I have to go to Menu-> Adjust/Maintenance -> Registration Normal. Use "Print Registration Chart" and see which colors are misaligned.

The center lines on both black and color bars should perfectly match. If they do not, go in the same menu and select "Adjust Magenta" or Adjust Cyan/Yellow depending on which color is misaligned.

Look at the printed chart and select the best matching line. If it is greatly misaligned then select the farmost value. E.g. if the magenta bar is greatly to the left - select "I", if to the right - select "9".

Please note that the alignment values are added/subtracted and stored each time you change them and press OK. The values increment or decrement the alignment each time.

Also take into account that for farmost values the left and right portions both will vary slightly even if you adjusted just one of them.

I hope this helps anyone looking for the answer!04920e8e-f9aa-4775-b0ee-43bfa997cc8f.png

The HP1415 MFP make pale prints/copies.

There is no fuser oil in this machine. Using the display and menu buttons, perform a FULL calibration up to three times and test for improvement. Not sure why upgrading firmware would interfere with scanner operation...it should not, and that would be my next recommendation. Good Luck!

I am using ricoh aficio cl7200 and copies cone out with a shaded blue colour, what is the problem

Your blue cartridge may need replacing. Or, one of the other colors. When was the last time you ran the cleaning cycle or, the calibration cycle.

Bizhub C654e Color Copy Only show Cyan or Magenta Lines

So you have tried all the calibration tests? It sounds as if the alignment is off. If that isn't the case, you can try setting the copier back to default settings. I think in this make the reset button will be a tiny indented hole on the back.

Color calibrate registration cl7200

Never ever do a memory clear all on a color unit. As you discovered it changes all the color registration values. This is a very, very complicated adjustment and very time consuming. I am a color expert and have been for 25 years now. Unless youre a trained tech youll never figure it out. spend 120 bucks and call a technician sorry..

How to get a copy count on a ricoh 7200 printer

To view the copy count, you'll have to print a config page. Press Menu, then scroll down until you see List/Test Print and press OK. Choose the Config Page option, and you'll get a page or two of information, with the copy count (broken into black and white and color) listed near the top of the first page.

Skewed printing

Most probably you have to do the Color Registration Settings and the Color Calibration.
The Color Registration will fix the fuzzy printing and the Color Calibration the way how the colors looks. The Color Calibration it is done automatically after each batch of 40 or 80 pages and if you need you can do a manual Color Calibration BUT THE COLOR REGISTRATION must be done manually.

Go to Menu->Others->Service->Color Registration and print a test chart. Will print a page and you have to read the alignment of some lines Cyan Magenta Yellow Black with some numbers. Check the Advanced user guide for details. Basically you have to read the number / letters of each color where 2 lines are matching. Then you can enter those numbers into the printer for each color.

If the Cyan only is off then will be easy ...
