Once you have installed and setup a multi-tray printer you might like to try to print a document to different printer trays. Open a word document and create a two page document.

  • Select your new printer under file->Print (if it's not the default)
  • Click the page layout tab
  • Click the small triangle at the bottom right
  • Open the page setup dialog box and click the page Paper Tab
  • Choose a tray for the first page and other pages. Close the dialog box and print.

USB-interface; CU- custom format of paper; Plain- paper type.
Default settings in the menu of the printer is: A4 or letter, plain
That is the same thing in the printer driver. Also check format of paper settings in small window of your paper cassette.Turn roller to adjust proper size of paper.
Best regards

SOURCE: Not printing

Had the same problem - in the end it was that the paper drawer wasn't closed properly.

SOURCE: Printer will only print page 1 of multiple page documents

1. Check that you are using the latest print driver - from kyocera website.
2. If the issue is when you print pdf files then make sure you set the printer in KPDL Auto mode - check the print driver settings about this and the printer menu.
3.You may check if you have the latest firmware installed within the printer - print a service status page (Menu->Others->Service).

Check for the latest print driver and eventually for the latest firmware. You may have to switch the print driver to PCL instead of KPDL (Auto). Ask your service provider to do that if you don't have the knowledge.

Print tow side on Canon LBP 800 Laser Printer

Hi
I have found both a Getting Started Guide here:
http://dl.owneriq.net/6/6b8eae44-71d6-4f7d-a01c-369b4426c2f6.pdf
and a User Manual (more comprehensive) here:
http://www.printerrecharge.com.au/manuals/Canon%20LBP-800%20User%20Manual.pdf
I've also looked through them and there is no mention of duplex printing capability, nor does the paper path shown in the manual show it as possible. The only way to double-sided printing is therefore manually. To do this
Print the odd numbered pages of the document (in properties box).
Remove the paper from the outlet and turn it over .
Replace it in the paper feed tray with the blank side facing you.
Print the even numbered pages of the document.
Please be careful to make sure that page 2 prints on the other side of page 1 and so on through the document, as it is very easy to put the one side printed pages in the feed tray with the last page, in the position to be printed first causing a complete waste of paper. Also leave the one side printed paper for a few minutes before refeeding as doing this too quickly can result in a paper jam.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya
Cheers

Problem printng on both sides of page

Hello, the problem is not with the printer.
Clasic case: you need to print 20 pages on both sides, you select print on both sides (manually) and make sure you only have 10 sheets of paper in the paper tray, you give the comand to print, after the even pages are all printed you flip them in the paper tray, at this point the printer will print the uneven pages. If you have more than 10 pages in this case the printer will print continuos because the paper tray has a sensor for the presence of the paper.

Hope this hepls, I'll wait on your feedback.

Brother MFC-9840CDW says no paper when trying to print. there is paper, it will make copies and test page, but beeps and flashes no paper when printing. Says "reload paper in MP tray", I've taken out all...

I had this problem trying to print from MS Word in a template I downloaded. I found this link and it worked perfectly. I'm using Word 2010 so I had to adjust accordingly. It's for a slightly earlier Brother model but that did not affect my using it.

Can't print labels

I found out that each time you print from the manual load tray, i.e. letters and labels, once you have the paper in the manual load tray press print and then press the demo button to start the manual feed. I hope this helps.

The Paper light keeps flashing when theres paper in the printer

A few things could be happening here.

1. Clear the print queue, and if there are jobs that won't delete, reboot the computer.
2. Now clear the jobs on the printer (cancel job button) until the status light turns green.
3. Put a piece of paper in the manual feed tray on the front.
4. Print a test page.
If the test page prints to the paper in the manual feed tray, then it is set as the default tray. Go into the printer settings and change it to "auto" or tray 1. If the test page prints to tray 1, but the original document you tried to print (when it got stuck) still won't print, cancel the job. Now, again, put paper in the manual feed tray. Try to print the document again and if it pulls from there, go into page setup of your document and change the setting from "manual" to "auto" or tray 1. Clear the job again (if it's stuck) and you should be able to print again. Hope this helps. This is one of the most common solutions - it happens a lot, especially with documents that are emailed from other people and once they get stuck in the queue, nothing will print (except the test pages directly from the printer, like you describe).

HP IIIp prints extra blank pages

HI there make sure that the paper tray guides are fully against the paper also try sending the job through the manual feed to see if you get the same problem. If you do not then it maybe that the paper cassette separation pad is worn and will need replacing. If your model has no rubber pad at the front of the cassette then you will have a metal hold over one corner of the paper make sure that when the paper lifts that the paper sits under the silver (Dog Ear) as this acts as a separator.

Hope this helps
Thanks J
