Problems pairing up a Nokia 6301 with my Motorola H500

I've been using my Motorola H500 with my Nokia 6301 for the past several months. I was given a new bluetooth so I disconnected my Motorola H500 and connected my new Samsung bluetooth. In the end I did not like the Samsung bluetooth so I decided to go back to the Motorola. When I tried pairing it to my phone, my phone did not find it and its asking to make sure that the bluetooth is on. I've retried the steps several time and come to the same conclusion. Can anyone help or does this mean that its the end of my H500 bluetooth?

I have the same problem. I used my Motorola H500 with my Motorola V360, but when my V360 went belly-up, I bought a new Nokia 6301. When I tried pairing it to the Nokia, my phone did not find it and its asking to make sure that the bluetooth is on.

Try power cycling the phone. Turn the Nokia off, wait 10 seconds, then turn back on and try again. It really does help sometimes. Let us know if this doesn't help.

I can't get my motorola h500 to pair to my nokia 2865i

To pair the headset, first turn off the headset if it’s not already off, hold the multi-function button until the LED light turns solid blue (not blinking blue) with an audio indication, then use your phone to discover and pair with the headset using “0000” as the default pass code.

Pairing works, but no connectivity

I had the same problem and went through several iterations. The AT&T store gave me the idea of powering off the BlackBerry and H500 but this did not correct the problem.

What did correct the problem was powering off the BlackBerry, then pulling out the battery and waiting a minute, then reinstalling the battery and powering up. I had the H500 off as well and powered it up into pairing mode at the same time. Back in business now, so that seems to be a way to clear the error.

Good luck

H500 and connection to nokia 8800 siroco

See the user manual page 59 for instructions on how to pair the device from the 8800. You only have to do this once.
The passcode is 0000 for the H500 which is unalterable.

H500 won't pair with Blackberry Curve

It might already have been figured out but if you hold the answer button on the headset down until the light stays on steady, it is in pairing mode. You can then go to bluetooth setup on the Curve and it will find the headset.
