No Signal!!!!! On May 6, 2007 the phone started saying "No Service" no matter where I was. I've tried different SIM cards and it didn't work. I've tried turning it off for more then a month. Sometimes the signal comes in, but not for long. I don't know what to do. I would really love the help. Thank you!!

What kind of phone is it? I had an Iphone 6S Plus that started doing the same thing before I upgraded. Turns out it was happening to lots of phones, not just mine and it was the antennae coming loose from the board. Only way to fix it was to replace it.

I bought a cell phone in the Philippines to bring to the US. When we tested the phone with three different SIM cards, it worked. Even with my AT&T SIM card, it worked. But now, in the US we try to...

Does it read your US simcard?
it is most probably a network setting. "No Service" means it cannot pick up a signal , check your network setting so that they are in american signal frequancy . Not shure what yor frequancy is because im South African.

Why I don't have network signal on my nokia 6600?

If you are not getting any network from your phone it my be be due to:* sim card issues* network / outage issues* phone issues
SIM Card issues:1. turn off mobile phone2. remove battery3. remove SIM card and memory card4. clean the SIM card from any dirt or dust5. wait for 2 minutes then plug back battery6. insert memory card and SIM card properly7. turn on mobile phone8. check if you will be provided with a signal from the upper right corner of your phone's screen. if not, try a different SIM card.
Outage:1. call your service provider and confirm if there are outages in the area or outages from the BTS where your SIM card is registered.
Phone Issues:1. if the phone is open line, try to enter a different SIM card2. try to insert the SIM card into a different phone, check if it will be provided with a signal3. if the second phone still dont get any signal and your service provider stated that there is no outage that may affect signal issues from your phone, check it from them if your sim card is still active.4. last resort is asking for a SIM replacement with the same phone number

OFFLINE MODE

Offline mode means that your phone aint getting any signal from your mobile service provider's BTS. You need to check it from your mobile service provider if there's an ongoing outage, you need to check as well if the sim card is properly inserted. Try powercycling your phone.
1. Turn off your device.
2. Remove the sim, memory card and battery.
3. Wait for at least 2minutes.
4. Plug back the SIM card, memory card and battery.
5. Turn on mobile phone.
6. Check if you are still getting offline mode.
7. If so, try to insert your SIM card to a different phone.
8. If using a different phone for your SIM displays offline mode still, then its your SIM card which is faulty. If it works fine make sure that you inserted the sim properly or the SIM card slot might be faulty.

No network coverage

Phone is not receiving any radio signal / received signal is too weak:
Confirm that network coverage is available where you are by contacting your service provider.

SIM card is not working properly:

Insert your SIM card into another phone
Note: Contact your service provider if you get the same message again.
Phone is not working properly:
Insert your SIM card into another phone. If the second phone works with the inserted SIM card, then
the problem is probably with the first instrument.

Note: In this case, contact your nearest Sony Ericsson service center regarding your phone problem.

Bought nokia n95 phone without sim card in ,but now i,ve put sim card in phone shows good signal but won;t let me phone out

  • PUK means "personal unlocking key" .
The PUK code is asked if you enter a wrong pin 3 times.
You need to call your phone service company, they can retrieve the puk code from a database
    for free.
In your case you need to contact your SIM card phone provider technical support to unlock the SIM.
The PIN and PUK are related to the SIM card, not to the phone.
If you replace the SIM card with a different one, then the phone should not ask for the PUK anymore.
Your rating is highly appreciated on this matter.

I put a t mobile chip to my i880 and it saying to give me the special code

The phone is locked, but that doesn't matter, IT WILL NOT WORK WITH T-MOBILE!! Or AT&T or any GSM for that matter.

Yes, iDEN phones, the phones used for Nextel, do have a SIM card, but this is a very different SIM and will NOT work with any T-Mobile, AT&T, etc. SIM cards. Even if it were unlocked, that makes no difference. It uses a different technology. NO Sprint or Nextel phone will ever work on T-Mobile. Neither will a Verizon phone.
