SOURCE: cannot Scan - Getting an Error

You almost certainly have a virus.. these problems are usually caused by 'rootkit' virus. .these are virus's that your standard virus S/W can't see..

Download 'Unhackme' (google it) and install it.. Unhackme will get the virus BEFORE Windows loads.. it needs to be trained.. so follow the simple instructions as it can't alwyas tell the difference between a legit file and a dud.. it will fix your problem and make your system go faster too!

When I scan a card a message pops up that LEADTools is not installed. Why?

Hello,

LEADTOOLS is an SDK (Software Development Toolkit) that Software Developers can use in their applications. It sounds like the manufacturer of the Scanning Software that you are using is not deploying all the necessary LEADTOOLS files that are required to run the program. You can try uninstalling the software and then reinstalling to verify that it was not an installation error, but if it still is not working, you will need to contact the manufacturer of the software and let them know you are getting these errors.

Win7 Error: no valid installatiion configuration found

Do you have Zonealarm? This may be a message from it. See... http://www.techsupportforum.com/forums/f217/no-valid-installation-configuration-found-650441.html
If the message is from Zonealarm, and you have your license key, I would try uninstalling and then reinstalling it.

Scan error - Can not connect

If you are scanning from your pc and seeing this error message it could mean that your scan drivers are disassociated. If you have multiple multi function printers or scanners that could be causing the problem as it creates a conflict with the software framework. I would recommend uninstalling the software as well as any other multifunction and reinstalling the software as well as the additional product software.

If you are scanning from the printer it may not be set up and you would have to set up scan destinations.

Windows xp installation

HI,

Here is what the Media test failure check cable eiting PXE ROM means:
Iam sure when we were changing some settings with the BIOS you must have done something wrong.Just reemember if you changed some settings over there.

try change the boot-order in the BIOS
try to disable "network-boot" in the BIOS.

This issue is often caused by either an incorrect setting in BIOS or a bad boot device, such as a bad hard disk drive. To resolve this issue,Isuggest you go through the steps in document CH000229 relating to a similar error message.

Now coming to System32\ntall.dll unknown hard error:

Restart your computer. The ntdll.dll error you're receiving could be due to a one-time, temporary issue and a simple reboot may resolve the problem completely.

If the ntdll.dll error only displays when you use a specific software program, uninstall the program, reboot your computer, and then install the latest version again from scratch.
Update drivers for any hardware in your computer where updated drivers are available. Outdated drivers sometimes cause ntdll.dll errors.

Test your memory for damage. If you're receiving ntdll.dll messages, one possible cause could be a bad memory module in your system. Testing your memory will either identify a problem or clear your RAM of any responsibility.

Perform a repair installation of Windows XP. If individual software reinstallations fail to resolve the problem, a repair installation of Windows will replace the ntdll.dll file. Remember to install all Windows service packs and other patches after this installation.

Perform a clean installation of Windows XP. A clean installation will completely remove Windows XP from your PC and install it again from scratch. I don't recommend this step unless you have stepped through all previous troubleshooting steps and you're comfortable that the ntdll.dll error is not caused by a single program (Step #2). NOTE:a single program or plugin is causing the ntdll.dll error, reinstalling Windows and then reinstalling all of the same software may lead you right back to the same ntdll.dll error.

While extremely rare, if everything else has failed, including the clean installation from the last step, you could be dealing with a hardware issue with your hard drive. If so, replace the hard drive and then perform a new installation of Windows XP.
