I restarted my phone and now when I turn it on there is no response when I try to slide the bar down to unlock it. the icons are there at the top of the screen, however, the clock is wrong, the background is just a black screen, and the two clocks say a different time, neither of which is correct.
SOURCE: Want to remove the clock
Just follow this
- press "Start"
- choose "settings"
- enter "today" in the first tab named "private"
- choose the second tab named "Elements" or something like that
- toggle "HTC Home"
- press "OK" in the right top corner of the screen
- no more clock on your screen

in that case... remeber to set your phone into an automatic time and date update. You can find it on the settings menu and there goes.. its done.

It's actually a pretty simple way to add widgets back to your home screen.
Long press a blank area of your home screen. A dialog box to Add to Home will appear. Select Widget, and then select Clock [HTC]. You will be able to select from 12 different HTC Clock widgets. Select the one you like, and then press the Select button. It will appear on your home screen as long as there is enough room for it. You can move the widget around by long pressing on the widget and sliding your finger to the desired location on the screen.
Good luck.
