Hello There is some over current consumption when the set heats up. Just see whether its cooling fans are working well. It can't be predicted the fault, as it need a through check up.
Don't try to order that product, even if it is something as simple as
the power cord without checking with LG's service department (or the
local one near you they recommend). Some parts are interchangable
but remember if you are not in the US, or have "strange international
voltages" and connectors they are required by local laws to only allow
an approved dealship or repair facility to handle your request.
Your friend is probably right. It will either be the Y-sustain brd or the Z-sustain brd. I have seen both bad at one time or another, The part numbers are on the boards.
