Hi I have a model sg 550m-8m. After hours of trying we have it set up to take photos but still trying to work in with vodafone to get the video to work. There is no info with the camera so appears that anyone buying this camera has a major problem setting it up here in New zealand. can you help. Regards Graham.

The 8M and 5M in the picture size setting is 8 megapixel or 5 megapixel. You can change to a lower i.e 5 M so that you can get more pictures onto the same memory card because the resolutions change and space occupied is also less.
Hi, To get GPRS/MMS setting, you need to contact your service provider through phone or go directly to their office. They will send you the settings for your model. You will receive service settings in the special text message called as smart message. Please save the settings to your phone and set it has default settings. Then you can start using the GPRS/MMS in your phone. Thank You
your samsong phone can not display any type &size of movies that may other phones can display! u must first see the resolution & type of them.in this model i think movie formats must be 3gp & mp4.& pictures must be less than 768*1024resolution.please say to me what happen with every photos,is it show others?for examplesur camera photos or movies...
Check that the correct settings are saved on phone, go to messages, scroll down, message settings and look for the vodaphone prepay or payg. make sure its selected and save. Then go to internet settings and check again that payg is selected. Turn phone off and on and see if that helps, if not pop in 2 a vodaphone shop and they will do it for yous! Hope this helped.
Have you tried contacting Vodafone customer services? they can send you a settings from their network very quickly.
By the sound of it, you just need to create a new connection, if you can go to the settings look to make a new one.. call it My isp or something if it asks for username password - leave them blank or type "web" for both username and password. Try connecting to that connection only and the browse vodafone live.
Make sure it is using the right profile. Eg I come from New Zealand and use Vodafone. My MMS profile is called VFNZ PXT.
If you are sure it is using the right profile, check the profile settings eg the server and the GPRS settings. Also try sending a video (last resort) and if it works then you should call your service provider or try their website.
