kiryakitsa1 You should download the SSC Service Utility as pineworks says. Read the instructions and warnings. Go to Reset counter protection and press reset. You may recieve a warning about replacing your waste ink pads. I have always reset the protection counter without replacing the waste ink pads and I have never had a problem. If you see ink drainage then you should replace the waste ink pads and then reset the protection counter. I have never had a problem with ink heads and I have done this many times.

one way to start to start the reset process is to unplug the two cords from the back ot the printer, the power and the other one, wait 60 seconds, and plug them back in. Then click on ...file....page setup....printer....properties...from the menus on your browser. It is in that last menu where you can setup whether to print in color or just black and white. Change your setting. Click done and exit. Try to print some thing. I hope this helps.

Hey patty815 I own 7 (C-60 printers) and I'm always looking for more.These are excellant printers if you don't over think when you are working on one. You can get a C-60 Icon (to press) by doing this; Press start...Press Printers and Faxes...Press your left mouse button on the picture of the printer and hold it down while you drag it to anywhere on your Desktop...and release. You should have an Epson Icon on your desktop now. ALSO: try pressing your Right mouse button on the Icon to learn a lot more stuff about the C-60. I hope this helps. Dave
