Speaker problem my speakers are CREATIVE.they stopped after internet was put in my computer.in control panel it says there is no mixer device.i downloaded the mixer device but still it says ther is no mixer device.please help to make my speakers work again.

try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer

You need to install the sound device driver. Go into the device manager and verify it's installed. If it's missing reinstall it.

navigate to control panel, select sound and audio devices. select advanced the volume control appears then set the balance to be at the center the on the other advanced option, select desktop stereo speakers. thanks.

Go to Control Panel | Sound and Audio Devices | Advance (On Speaker settings) | Selects Your speaker Configuration.

If not work, check the Sound Card Software for properties.

Try this:

Go to Control Panel >> Sounds and Audio Devices. Click on Advanced button under Speaker Settings and for Speaker Setup select 5.1 surround sound speakers from the options. Click Apply >> Ok and then check.
