Sound is there... but no picture...When this first started, I could turn it off and on repeatedly until whatever electrical void is there was satisfied.
A pain in the rear,... but westinghouse said they would do nothing for me because the TV was 14 months old. (warranty ends at 12 m.)
Now regardless of how many times I turn it on and off I get the W to boot up for 1 or 2 seconds, then blackness.
Any Ideas? I am a master plumber and licenced solar design specialist which makes me utterly useless with this.
Please help. My fall-back plan is to mail the Unit to Westinghouse with
a tube of K-Y jelly and tell them what to do with it.
One simple thing you can do is to Just hit the set with your hand nicely to find out if there is a bad connection inside the unit. This is the first thing I would do if I was to come over to fix it. Now with that said try hitting the back panel and the top and sides etc hard but not hard to break anything phsically. It might just be a bad solder connection inside that can be fixed rather cheaply.
Hope this helps and ask more if you need me

I have the same problem as Hutter but I have not tried whacking the unit as was recommended. I has been under a year since I purchased the unit but am not sure who to contact for repair.
