Yes, the filter can be accessed by removing lower front panel. Unscrew pump cover filter. Have a shallow pan and towels to catch water when servicing

Disclaimer, I'm not a repairman! But I did fix the same problem after reading some info online and messing around. Open the lower panel-2 screws at the very bottom next to the legs, pill down, it's off- and there will be a yellow envelope on the left hand side. It will have the tech sheets in it and will tell you how to put it in a test mode. It will also tell you the codes and how to read them. If the results of the tests (my code was EB3) tell you "replace the control board" don't spend $225 on a new board yet! I was 1 step away from ordering it from sears.com when I thought I have nothing to lose at this point. So I pulled the control board out: 1.open the top -2 screws at the back pull out, lift up and its off 2. Take the upper panel off (where the lights and buttons are)-4 screws, 2 on top, 2 where the detergent tray goes in. Do take the tray out first. 3. Inside that panel you'll see the control board housing-5 screws, 2 on the left, 1 on the right, 2 in the middle, there are some plastic latches also, just use a small flathead to prop them. Unplug all the cables- I marked them so I would know where each one would go once I'm done- 4. Open the housing, again prop the plastic latches. 5. Once u have the green board in your hand wipe VERY GENTLY the back side (side that doesn't have all the components sticking out, the flat side) with a dry paper towel. On mine I could see white residue. I think it was oxidation. Since the control board housing is not sealed I think with time the humidity and vapors caused oxidation and start shorting the circuit. 6. Before putting everything back together I connected all the cables to the control board and did a test run, I was very happy when I heard the water start to fill up. Saved me $225 plus labor which probably would have cost me over $300 easily. The machine new was $550! w

Error code e21 on frigidaire affinity washer cleaned pumped and ran a rinse cycle it did fine put clothes in to wash it ran for 10 min. then stopped.

Hello Deena,
Error Code e21
means the water is not pumping out fast enough. The most likely reason is because the washer drain filter is clogged.
Here is a solution:
  1. Pull the machine out from the wall.
  2. Then take the panel out in the rear. Once the panel is off you will see the drain pump.
  3. Disconnect the drain Tube between the Tub and the Pump.
  4. Look inside the pipe you will find the Drain Filter.
  5. Clean the filter out ( you will be surprised of "things" found in the filter) then put the machine back together
  6. Try a full cycle.
That should end your problem.
Best of Luck!

Logk washing machine e21

Good Afternoon Nicola,

I understand you are receiving an E21 code on your Frigidaire washer. This E21 code means that the water is not pumping out of your appliance fast enough. Check the drain hose for any kinks or clogs. Also, make sure the drain hose is no more than 8 inches down in the drain pipe. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and start any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

Front load washer e21

Good Morning Friend,

I see that you are receiving an E21 on your Frigidaire washer, model# ATF6000ES. The E21 error code states that water is not pumping out fast enough. Here are a couple of suggestions that you can try.

1)Check the drain hose for any kinks or clogs. Also, make sure that the drain hose is only 6-8 inches down in the drain pipe. If the drain hose gets backed up with water this error can occur.

2)Make sure that the actual drain pipe, where the drain hose goes into, is only a maximum height of 8 feet. If it is longer than 8 feet, you will need to cut some of the pipe off.

3)Make sure that your homes drain pipes are not clogged. If they are, you will need to unclog them. Call a plumber if necessary.

After checking the above suggestions, reset your washer by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your homes circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. When you restore power, start any cycle on your washer. If you are still receiving an E21 error code, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. They will be able to diagnose your washer and determine why you are receiving an E21 on your appliance. Hope this is helpful.

My frigidaire washer has e21 error code and wont start

Hello - The error code "E21" typically means the water is not draining properly or not pumping out fast enough. Does the washer making a humming noise? If so, either the drain hose may be kinked or the drain in the house is clogged. Once you have confirmed and cleaned the hose and if issue continues contact a professional to move forward accurately. The unit may possibly have a faulty pump or control board.

Ok you have a front load washer made by Electrolux. Prbably says Fridgedaire.
E21-water not pumping out fast enough.
There could be a clog in the filter or a kinked hose. Check all the hoses and the filters. Some models have inline filters just before the pump. Filters are designed to protect the pump.

If you need further assistance please feel free to contact.

My machine is not draining properly GE WSSH300G0WW front load washer

Hello,

Remove any kinks in the drain hose. Ensure that the washer is not sitting on the hose.

Inspect the household drain. Remove clogs, if possible. Call a plumber if you cannot remove the clogs.

Check the drain and make sure there is an air gap between the hose and drain. An air gap is necessary to prevent the drain hose from siphoning water.

Clean the pump filter. Open the pump access door. Turn the pump filter counter-clockwise and remove it. Remove dirt and debris. Replace the filter and close the pump access door.

Rearrange the clothing in the load. An unbalanced load can prevent the washer from spinning or draining.

Allow the washer to cool down for two hours. If the washer overheats, it will stop the motor and cool down before restarting.

Close the door completely. The washer will not operate if the door is not securely closed.

I hope the above helps.

Take care.

Error E21 won't start washing delay then won't spin all the water out

Hi, water not draining fast enough. Try holding the start/pause and cancel key together for 3 seconds. The door lock, wash, rinse and final spin leds should light. Any error codes should be displayed when holding those keys. If you see a different error code, post it. If not, I would suspect a clogged pump.
Drop the bottom front panel. The pump sits on the right side. Disconnect the drain hoses and clean them and the pump impeller out.
