I used Selleys Rapid Mould Killer. Worked very well.
You can't the mould eats into the top layer of the rubber and stays there. you can replace the rubber, keep doing hot washes etc but if you are in an area with mould problems you are a bit stuck with it im afraid, i have slightly the same problems.
First you should reach deep into the front door seal and run your fingers around. There is probably slime in there. You will need to thoroughly clean this with a bleach water mix about 50-50. You might need to pull the seal almost inside out to get in there good. If after scrubbing you still have black in the rubber the mold will come right back in that case you will need to replace the seal. They are not to hard to replace but a little tricky. Here is a link that should help if you need to replace the seal or if the wire ring pops off when cleaning. Now if all cleans up well or you replaced it be sure to wipe out the seal after each use (deep in there) and /or leave the door open.
If the seal is clean and no mold present and it still smells then you likely have a clogged drain pump filter or pump. Here is a link that should help cleaning a drain pump.

We have had our washer for almost 2 years and the mold problem started over a year ago. We have tried to leave the door open when not in use and have cleaned it with bleach. The company needs to come up with a solution to this problem. This is a faulty design in most front load washers. We will never buy another unless we can be guaranteed that the problem has been corrected.
We have the same mold problem. It is awful!! Stinks!! Can't be cleaned.
What can be done?
I agree. we have mold and it is leaking also. have you talked to Frigidaire?
