I was told that my acer aspire one netbook that works on linux has a version of windows already on ... and that i can switch to windows ..
is that real? if so .... how??
if that's not possible, how can i use windows live messenger on an acer aspire one netbook that works on linux ??
knowing that i don't wanna use that linux messenger :(
I do not believe this ...the only way is if there is a dual boot system installed so when you boot it should prompt you to choose the op sys ya want to run ...the solution is as fallows...either you install the windows xp ...but I heard about problems with some notebooks that came with Linux cause the HDD is too small to support windows,,,( ex 2G...) and if you install it you will not have room for anything else ..if you dont want to mess with this my solution is .. web msn messenger ..so you will be able to use it without install it ...

make sure you disable the pop up blocker for this site ....Good luck !
I don't think you will find a recovery CD but Linux is free to download is suggest using pen drive linux (link bellow) to get the OS you want and the tools you need to make your boot media

If you are looking for a simple install and a easy to use version of linux I suggest Ubuntu (link below) the website comes with simple steps to create a boot CD/USB
