To solve the printing problem..

# Hold the cartridge upside down, with the bar-code label facing you and take a damp paper towel.
# Use the towel to wipe the printhead of the cartridge on the bottom (where the ink comes out). Wipe the printhead horizontally in one direction only (left to right).
# Continue doing this until it looks clean.
# Then dab the cartridge on the towel to make sure the ink is flowing.
# Next, look inside the printer and locate the carrier that holds ink cartridges. Caution: Make sure the cartridges are not installed at this point.

1. Look for a shiny piece of metal underneath the contacts at the back of the carrier.
2. Take a damp cotton swab (use water only!) and wipe along the bottom of the shiny metal piece. Note: You may need more than one swab.

# Reinstall the cartridges, making sure you snap them correctly into the printer.

I have a kyocera ecosys m6635cidn. it wont print. it keeps saying cassette not installed out of nowhere

The "Cassette Not Installed" error message on the Kyocera Ecosys M6635cidn typically indicates a problem with the paper tray or cassette. Here are a few things you can try:
  1. Make sure the cassette is correctly installed: Check that the cassette is inserted correctly and fully into the printer. There should be a click sound when it locks into place.
  2. Check the paper settings: Make sure the paper settings in the printer driver match the paper size and type loaded in the cassette. You can check this in the print driver settings on your computer.
  3. Check for paper jams: If there is a paper jam, the printer may think that the cassette is not installed. Open the printer and check for any paper jams or debris inside.
  4. Reset the printer: Try turning off the printer and unplugging it from the power outlet. Wait a few minutes and then plug it back in and turn it on. This will reset the printer and may resolve the issue.
If none of these steps work, it may be necessary to contact Kyocera technical support for further assistance.

At the bottom of the printer you will find the paper cassette. Pull the handle and the cassette will slide out. Eventualy you will need to ajust the size of the paper.

Messege * load mp tray * but tray has plenty of

MP tray is not the cassette it this flap that pulls down above it.

The machine will revert to asking to place paper in its MP tray when the information it is receiving about the document from whatever program tell it that the size is not the same as what the cassette is set to...

so, check page size in of document in word program or whatever you are using

also check paper type and size settings match those you just checked in the printers properties under printers in control panel.

If you put a piece of paper in the MANUAL BYPASS TRAY bot the cassette it will print on that.

To get evverything back to normal, turn off printer, delete jobs in print que, change paper size of document in word/excell/etc is set same as paper type in printer, print again.. all should be good...

p.s. these are good quality printers that why I bother to answer you... cheers

Kyocera FS-2020D won't print

You have to go to setting to change the cassette paper size , what happen is : in the setting that cassette has different size value, so when you try to print A4 it ask you to load it in the bypass or the Mp. all what you have to do is: go to cassette setting or comon setting and change the cassette siz to A4, and it will fix your problem.
