Setting up i cant connect tv to laptop

Check your settings,both bios and display,for the display priority.Either the settings has been set to inbuilt display and thus cant display on external monitors or the external monitors have been disconnected in bios settings

You should download user manual for your TV from SAMSUNG website.
It does have VGA for PC connection.

Im guessing your attempting to connect a laptop to a TV. Once you have the wires in place to the right click the background go to settings or personalize (depending on which OS) there you should be able to pick another screen aka or tv.

Usually you need to connect your LCD TV to the laptop and then restart your laptop and in the meantime keep the TV on. It will recognize it automatically.
if this didn't work you need to go to the graphic card setting by Righ-Click on your desktop background > Properties > Settings
and make the right setup.

You may need to go into BIOS and enable the external output.

Try turning both pc and tv off and connect, then turn both on. Also, make sure your Display setting are correctly configured. Goto Control Panel, Display and click on Settings Tab. If your still having trouble. Try changing your resolution and make sure that you have your TV to the right input. My TV has 4 HDMI 3 RCA 2Component 1 Digital Optical many USBs...can get kinda confusing. The connection should be numbered. Switch inputs with your remote til you get the right port. Then work on getting your pc to display correctly. Set your aspect ration to 16:9 first. Most tv and laptops are set this way. GOOD LUCK let me know how it goes.

remember you have to set your PC display settings and select the input in your TV.
Audio must be transferred via separate cable.
Let me know if you know where to config your display settings.

go to "Windows Mobility" select external display and then set display to external only.

Depending on the laptop, the usual way to do this is to connect the VGA cable to the laptop and the TV. Select the VGA input from the television remote and press FN+F4 to switch the image to the television set.
