Windows Narrator is a tool that reads the text on your
screen.
It can be helpful to use for many users, but if you are not
utilizing it, you can easily turn it off. Windows Narrator can read text and
describe events such as error messages that appear while you are using your
computer.
Turning off the screen reader is a quick and simple process
that does not interfere with system components.
Click the "Start" button, and then type "Narrator" (without
quotes) in the "Search" box. Click "Narrator" in the search
result list to launch Windows Narrator.
Click the "Control whether Narrator starts when I log
on" option.
Uncheck the checkboxes next to "Turn on Narrator"
and "Turn on Audio Description."
Click "Apply" to save your changes.
Windows Narrator is turned off.
