Tip: The max point reward for answering a question is 15.
From your handset, you just have to press the mute button, your phone should start telling you the time, date, ect. press the #5 key and then the #8 key and start recording your message. When finished press the # 8 key again. Hope this helps
After the answering machine beeps for you to leave a msg - enter the 3-digit security code. If you haven't already set that function up, the default is 1-2-3.
Once in, use these buttons for:
#1 - Review msg
#2 - Play back msg
#2 again to Stop the play back
or #0 to delete during play back
#3 - Skip
#4 - Turn off/on answer
#7 Review voice menu options
Push the top left button (looks like an audio tape). Then push 9 It will display a 180second count down in which to record your voice message. When finished, push the top right button (looks like and arrow into a diamond).
To turn off/on the answering machine:
I lost my user manual for my Doro 615R+1 home phone, so after much deliberation and playing with many buttom combinations, worked out how to turn off the answering machine.
- Open the answering machine function by pushing the top left button (looks like an audio tape).
- Push '0' and then use the up and down arrows to select On or Off.
- To enter your selection push the top right button (looks like and arrow into a diamond).
press bottom left button and then hold down 7. display will show 0-0 to indicate its turned on. 2 to read messages. 3 to skip to next messge. 4 to record your message. 5 to listen to current welcome message. 6 to delete messages. 7 to activate answer machine. 9 to deactivate ans mach. 0 to record internal memo. To use any of these functions bottom left button must be pressed first.
you have to press the answer machine button (3rd on the left with an R on it) then the display should say 'msg play' so press the down button scroll to OGM REC. record ya message after the tone then press ok when done. then scroll down the menus again (press the answer machine button (3rd on the left with an R on it) then
