seems like a bug in the app (not a virus) and needs to be updated (or reset the tablet from the bootloader since it does run on android or you can try resetting the tablet in settings > security) but in most cases an update would fix a problem with google search or you can open the native browser in mommy mode or open chrome and use google searches there

1) tap on mommy/daddy mode
2) click "Forgot Password" link

Forced Reboot: To perform a forced reboot, hold the Power Button down until nabi turns off. When nabi is off, press the Power Button to turn on nabi again. Factory Reset:Caution! A factory reset is a very serious process because it will SYSTEMATICALLY WIPE ALL USER DATA from nabi. A factory reset will return nabi to its original factory settings.To perform a factory reset from Mommy/Daddy Mode, tap All Apps > Settings > Backup & reset > Factory data reset > Reset tablet > Erase everything. How do I switch from Kidz Mode to Mommy Mode, and vice versa?
To switch to Mommy Mode, simply tap the Menu Key, select Mommy Mode, and enter the password to exit Kidz Mode. To switch back to Kidz Mode, simply tap the Applications View, and then tap the Kidz Mode Icon.
