When plugged in to charger, message says, "charge completed". When unplugged, the phone is absolutely dead. No lights, no nothing. Is it just a case of a dead battery? If so, how is it that the message would say, "charge completed"? Thanks.

I took out the battery on a lg verizon phone oops put it back in now black nothing ?? There must be some sort of way to replace the battery that reinitializes it any help

Normally a drained battery would take about 30-40 minutes to charge, however if the battery charges in about 2-3 minutes or even faster (as in your case) the fault lies in the battery. If your phone isn't water dropped and is within the warranty period you will get a new battery. I would suggest u change the battery and check (maybe with another battery of a similar make) and then see the results before u could buy one.

yea i had the same problem too.
1st of all you probably have a dead battery meaning it wont hold a charge and 2nd your ciruit board where u plug the charger in is probably broken. you will know if its broken if you can wiggle it around, its suppose to be stuck in place.
so take it in to verizon, they will help you, i got a free phone out of it =]
