SOURCE: playstation network failed internet connection

There is a worldwide issue which Sony are fully aware of which is affecting
all old model PS3's, The new slimline PS3's are not affected.

Due to an internal clock failure on the units they are not syncronsing with the
network time on the PSN's end. Causing error-8001050F

There is no official ETA although at 16:58 GMT today (1st March) Sony released a
statement stating they should have the problem resolved within 24 hours and have
advised all PS3 users experiencing issues NOT to use their PS3 until they
advise the issue is resolved as it could result in loss of functionality and
further damage.

Why can't I login to my DVR web interface?

If you on are the same network as the DVR, you should be using the DVR's IP. Usually a 192.168......., depending on your service or router (COMCAST, AT&T etc...)

I’m happy to assist further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/christopher_101fbc448ddafa3d

I want 2 configure a DVR from remote place and not from the intranet. kindly help me out in solving the issue

To configure the DVR from a remote location you can do it one of two ways:
Create a vpn connection through your router if it supports it or an external units to the remote location. This will make the remote location appear to be local to the dvr.

You can also setup the dvr's internal IP and port on your router through port forwarding. This way certain network access or traffic will be passed directly to the dvr from outside your local network.

I'm not sure if you are still looking for the answer, but I think the problem may be that you need to enter the PUBLIC IP address of the modem at the remote end instead of the PRIVATE (ie. 192.168.1.x) IP that was actually assigned to the DVR. It works best if you assign a static IP to the DVR on the remote end and enter that IP into the router's DMZ. You might also want to get a free account at dyndns.net and setup a FQDN for your business router/modem. That way you can connect to it using something like "mybusiness.homeip.net" instead of an IP address, and if the IP changes it will still find it. You will also have to configure your modem at the business to automatically update the dyndns server when the IP changes.
