Battery will not charge

The netbook works fine when plugged into a wall socket but when i attempt to unplug it from the wall socket and switch to battery power, the computer shuts off. Apparently the battery will not accept a charge. When i shutdown and leave the laptop to charge, the power lights starts to blink slowly after a few minutes.

I have a Rca S2001 Jet Series Music player. I charged it using my computer. When attempting to turn it on, it would not. When connected to the wall on the charger it will work, but if not it wont.

Do you use the same cable to charge your device on computer and wall socket? If not that might be your problem. It might show that it’s charging but actually there’s no power supplying to the battery. If it is the same cable try another USB socket your motherboard or driver could start causing problems so I would suggest to try the cable you use on the wall socket on another computer if possible.

Msi wind u160 runs on mains power only

If your laptop works fine while plugged in but stops working while unplugged it's likely that either your laptop battery is bad or your laptop is not charging the battery properly.

Below are steps that can be taken to help identify the cause of this issue.

Leave power plugged in

Make sure the computer has been charging from the power plug for at least two hours before attempting to unplug it.

Remove and reconnect battery

In some situations the battery can become loose.
Removing it and then put it back into the laptop.

Third-party utility

Use a third-party battery utility to determine the total capacity of the battery. For example, BatteryCare is a free software utility capable of doing this.

Replace battery or AC adapter

If your computer is still in warranty we suggest skipping to the next step.

If the above steps have been completed, we suggest replacing the battery in the computer or AC adapter.

In most situations it's a bad battery.

hope this helps

Try removing the battery from the back and then running it directly through the AC adapter. Sometimes the battery and AC adapter have conflicts and it can cause a laptop to become inoperable.

If this doesn't fix the problem in any way, I would recommend trying a new battery or AC adapter.

hope this helps

My notebook was working fine the day before, and fully charged! today, while attempting to switch it on by sliding the power switch, it won't happen! it is not switching on! please suggest how i may f

Probable cause. Plastic on/off power switch slider is cracked and cannot operate actual power switch. Need to disassemble netbook to gain access to switch. Superglue may provide temp solution but best option to contact Samsung for part.

Motorola h500 bluetooth headset

Make sure the wall socket it's plugged into is on. Some have wall switches that must be turned on to activate the socket. Leave it plugged in over night if you are using it the first time. Plug something else into the socket (like a desk lamp) to make sure it is delivering electricity.
If it still doesn't turn on after attempting to charge with an electrical socket you know works, the product may be defective.

Amilo pro v7010 laptop wont switch on

Hi,
If so, unplug it from the wall charger, remove the battery and wait 5 minutes. Then plug the unit back in, leaving the battery out. Attempt to power up. You may lose what work you hadn't saved from the previous use, but nothing else.
If that doesn't work, it's possible that
A) power socket isn't completely connected to the motherboard anymore, so
B) battery isn't charging properly, or
C) the wall charger has gone bad.
I'd say you're in hibernation tho.
Good luck
