We just got 46" Samsung about 6 months ago. For the past week when ever I try to turn the TV on- it will automatically turn off and on (constantly until we unplug the TV). Sound is still working. Suggestions?

I have same problem, called Samsung & they suggested unplug and let it reset she also stated that no parts or labor on anything after 12 months. I had not registered the tv so it was 53 days out of warranty, CS advised register the tv online and see if it would give the free 3 month warranty extension and it did. Now if the reset does not work it will be covered under warranty.

Please help. When I turn on my set it begins to click and tries to power on for about 3-4 minutes. Eventually turns on and all you see are vertical lines all over the screen. I've had this TV 16 months & bought extended warranty from Repair tech LLC. Who are I believe out of business.

Sounds like an issue with the power and or main board. Contact samsung and describe your problem to them. A lot of samsung parts have lifetime warranties and the service call is free. so definitely check with samsung and see if you can get a comp repair. hope this helps, j

Won't turn on constant clicking sound

My 1 3/4 year old 52" LN2A750 began doing this same thing iover the past week. After isolating thew problem to the TV as opposed to the power strip, Direct TV box/remote, etc., I looked this up on the web. It became immediately clear that this is a well known capacitor issue that Samsung will fix for free. They will try to tell you that your TV is not included in this program as they did me. After indicating I was going to escalate the issue, I was able to get them to agree to fix it for free (howerver, only if it is a capacitor issue which I am prett comfortable it is). Go ahead and call them at 1-800-SAMSUNG.

46" Samsung LCD, no sound output whatsoever

First try hooking up a different source such as a DVD player or Cable box and see if you have audio. If you do then check the audio output from the computer. If you do not have audio then make sure the tv audio is up half way and turn off the set. When you do this you should hear the down chime provided you have the chime turned "on". If you do not hear the down or up chime then the sudio circuits on the Main bd are bad and the Main bd will have to be replaced. A quick way to check to see if the audio circuits are working is to listen for the up or down chime when turning on of off the set coming from the tv speakers speakers.
