I'd undo the set screw and very gently pull out the connector just a bit from the body and clean up the 3 xlr leads with a fine handheld (available at any car parts store) brass wirebrush or fine steel wool. You can also buy a product/kit from Caig Labs called De-Oxit and just apply it with the little brush supplied (with kit) or a foam (not cotton) swab instead of opening it up.
Some the head of the condenser spins off counter clock wise, if it just spins there is a very small set screw to release, the wire connections are within.... hope this helps?
It's under Equipment, System Settings. When I first got mine, it kept losing its configuration and wouldn't connect regularly to the base unit. I had to change the wireless channel it fixed both. My pool builder was useless. "KB Custom Pools" Austin, TX
Phantom Power (or an internal battery) is needed to operate 'Condenser' type microphones.
The E835S from Sennheiser is a 'dynamic' microphone and, as such, does not require any power source for it to operate.
If you are using several different types of microphone together (dynamic and condenser) it should be quite safe to have phantom power on - it won't cause any damage to the Sennheiser.
However 'ribbon' microphones will be destroyed by phantom power
change the security settings if any in the wireless router....
use 64bitWEP password for the router and if it is a BELKIN wireless router then WiFi protected setup should be disabled in the roter....
contact router's technical support to do settings in it....
hit up palm live chat support, found out the wireless hardware in my handheld died.....so no wireless for me. I could spend $199 to get it repaired or $229 on an ipod touch with apple that will fix it no matter what with just shipping and handling......so....my solution: get an ipod touch....screw palm.
