Toshiba 52HMX94 TV Rear Projection problem: both HDMI inputs have become intermittent We replaced the HDMI cable we also sprayed Caig De OX spray on the HDMI contacts, but the problem still persists: Both HDMI inputs HDMI 1 & HDMI 2 after being on for about an hour or more the screen becomes streaky with horizonal lines. If we change over to the Component input option everything is perfect. Again, we replaced the HDMI Cable and the problem exists on both HDMI inputs 1 & 2. If we press the "reset" on the side of the TV panel the problem sometimes resolves, only to re occur after about an hour of the TV being on. Also sometimes upon turn-on the screen is just full of green snow. If we jiggle the HDMI input on the TV back the problem will disappear for a few seconds,[this again is on both HDMI 1 & HDMI 2 only to re occur again within a few seconds. Thank for your help. Ron ♫

Your problem is in the streaming player. It is not keeping up and when an HDMI loses connection it will not auto find it again. To verify this take the Panasonic out of the loop and see if this fixes it. I love HDMI but it is touchy
VGA, and supervideo only carry the visual signal, so if you use one of this cables, (both the computer and the tv have to have the same output/input) then you have to have a cable attached to the computers audio output to carry audio to the TV. If your computer has HDMI output and the tv has an HDMI input, then that carries both visual and audio. When you attach the video cable to the tv, put the tv on that input source and the computer will sense the device and if the drivers are updated will fire the signal up automatically and give you the choice of using only the tv, or using both the tv and laptop monitor.
there is currently a bug with HDMI when you try to run it from comcast box to a tv or through something to a tv. its thinking that you're trying to copy something...but in actuallity you're not. comcast knows of this problem and they are trying to make new boxes to fix it.
y,pb,pr are component cables. the red/blue/green cables that are digital to analog to digital, but will still give you a great picture.
if your using a HDMI cable and have comcast service call comcast and have them bring you a new red/blue/green cable. They may play stupid but don't let them leave without changing cables. -->
