Dear Madam/Sir Our FS-1030D printer makes an offset. It pushes the page upwards so about 1 cm is missing. When double page is printed then occures on contrary downwards. Ther is not error signal. The printer has printed about 45000 pages. Thanks for your help in advance. Tamas Havas HAGA Automation Ltd [email protected]

on a ricoh - that would be the pcm - photoconductor module on an ecosys the module should last 100,000 pages nothing ever seems to last that long send an email to http://www.pcandl.com/ or call where you bought it
SOURCE: Kyocera Mita FS-1030D Laser Bottom 2 lights blinking.
I think the two lights flashing together indicates waste toner box missing or full but as this printer doesn't have a waste bottle I assume it means the processing unit (ie the drum bit) needs replacing.

When you add toner to the machine, they tell you to clean the charge wire by running a green lever back and forth across the corona assy.
If you do not get it back into home position, it makes a shadow, resulting in a black line.
It happens all the time.

If a paper jam occurs while printing, the printer notifies it by the following combination of the four indicators. Remove the
jammed paper . After removal, open and close the top cover once to initialize the jam sensing
SOURCE: Huge Margin with Kyocera FS 1000+
If the FS-1000 prints too far down the page or leave too much top margin or leaves a gap at the top of the page etc (<- for google searches). This is a problem with the felt pads on the three solenoids/clutch electro magnets that are under the right panel (2 under the engine/button board, 1 under the inner plastic cover, sometimes 4 in total on other kyocera printers). They get compressed over time meaning the metal leavers come into contact with the solenoid meaning they are released too slowly. Simply replace the felt pads with .5mm cardboard or another non-sticky non-metallic material. Too thick and it prints too far up the page.
