When you first turn on the tv for two minutes, it shows color. Afterwards, it changes and only shows black and white. It has a dvd player built in, when in use it plays in color; although everything is yellow. This dvd player is hooked up by components. I have tried the s-video component and it does not work. Is anyone else having this problem with their tv?
Would you say say the color is intermittent, sometimes black and white an occasionally flashes streaks of color? The small signal board may be at fault. You can ask to have the board replaced or fix it at the component level. Parts for the board at component level could be PN#823827736071 location 1H00, this is i beleive a color crystal, and two capacitors , PN#223886975478, location #s are 2H08 and 2H09. This repair is very prettymuch the repair you will need. Theses are surface mount parts and will require a tech to do. Hope this will give you a good start for repair!!!!!
