My apple notebook just beeps at me when i turn it on

Check the power source. If there are lights or beeps, they indicate issues. If not, it might be dead.

The ram is either the wrong kind, bad, or not pushed in properly.

Three beeps means it can't find the system folder.

the beep pre-boot is signaling a kernel panic. It could be bad ram or something else, it's hard to tell without hearing the beep (they signify different things)
1 beep = no RAM installed

2 beeps = incompatible RAM types

3 beeps = no good banks

4 beeps = no good boot images in the boot ROM (and/or bad sys config block)

5 beeps = processor is not usable

So depending on the beep, it means different things. However in any case I'd suggest taking it to an Apple Authorized Repair Facility. Unless you feel comfortable with assessing the proper solution on your own

Pull your ram cards and restart... see what you get. Then restart WITH them... you may just have an unseated ram card.

The video card or onboard video is dead. That is what that beep code is telling you. More than likely you will need it replaced. Sorry.

Hello, 3 audible beeps at startup means that you have a bad memory (RAM) install. Please try to unistall your RAMs the one after another

probably the RAM. Take it out and put it back in to check. You will need some RAM to boot, so try each stick separately if you can. I'm guessing though that you'll have to get at least one other stick of RAM to check. You'll probably find that one is bad. It's probably covered for life, but that would be a good reason to upgrade it.
