The componet Cable or Connection to tv sounds like it has a short, replace it with another cable or the orignal cable that came with the system

@the monitor appearance changed to pink shade and we are not able to see in this colour pl give me a solution to sent it back to normal mode

probably the color setting of the monitor has been changed.
on the monitor panel press the menu button and go to the color option.
see if increasing or decreasing the RED GREEN and BLUE color options sets back the monitor to normal.
usually some monitors have a reset option also, by selecting it everything will get back to normal.

My monitor suddenly altered the colors on the screen; white background now appears slightly pink, green appears black. How can I make adjustment to correct the color?

your monitor is either going bad or your display setting are messed up.use the buttons on the front and mess with color option if that don't work then you need a new monitor

Color Resolution

Sounds like a piture tube or internal video driver in your monitor. You probably lost the green channel. If the monitor is dated I would replace it.

Severe gradient issues / problems with darker grays

So your sure when you go into the monitor settings, and color, it is set to like 9300k or something? It probably isn't the monitor, because the video games you said display just fine.
