How do you use the camera on nuvi 1300lm gps...asked the "expert" and they wanted $23 for an answer. How can I get on line information

Does your Garmin Nuvi 265WT GPS get stuck or freeze at startup, or when loading maps?

Looking to reflash the firmware / system software for your Garmin GPS device?

Replacing the brains of your Garmin GPS is the surest way to resolve freezing, hanging, and erratic behavior. Keeping the system software and firmware in your Garmin GPS current and up-to-date is also the best way to keep it performing well.

Your GPS may not start properly at all, and display a 'System Software Missing" message. This tip will describe how to restore your Garmin Nuvi GPS system software using Garmin Webupdater.

The first step is to download the WebUpdater software.
Plug in your Nuvi GPS into your PC with the USB cord.
Run the WebUpdater program to install it to your computer and update the system software of your GPS.

Your Garmin Nuvi should now be running as good as new.

I want use this nevi in erope country how can setting .thank u

If you purchased this in the USA it will have North American basemaps and detail maps (probably a version of City Navigator). To use it in Europe, you will need to purchase Europe maps from the Garmin web site and install them. I have seen Europe maps for other Garmin units, so I would anticipate that they would be available for your 265WT.

This GPS doesn't come pass code protected, that code is put in by the owner, so i must assume this is not your property.

Garmin will not come on

I can help you reset and fix your Garmin Nuvi 265WT.

Not starting, getting stuck on the flashing Garmin logo, or a message about not finding any maps, are indications that the firmware / system software inside your GPS has been corrupted.

There are three steps to take to get your Nuvi 265WT running like new:

Back up your Favorites.
Perform a Hard Reset.
Download and then run Garmin 265WT WebUpdater to replace its firmware / system software.

My garmin 265wt lost the map and audio while in use
